Q: radio trivia, you could lease a 2008 subaru tribeca for as low as $ ----- per month?
A: I think it is 179 a month. (terms and conditions may apply)
Q: Does the 2008 Subaru Tribeca have an AUX port for MP3 players?
A: Yes.
Q: is a 2008 Subaru Tribeca LTD a good car?
A: Sweet ride.
Subaru makes very reliable cars, while the tribeca is still a new model, it shares the same engine and many parts from most subarus.
If you buy it expect to keep it for a very long time.
Q: Do the 2008 Subaru Tribeca's rear quarter glass windows open? Motorweek says they do and dealer says not.
A: they dont
Q: New 2008 Subaru Tribeca -- any complaints?
Yeah, I know it looks like *ss, but are there any owners out there who care to comment on their experience with the car? I used to own a WRX STi and loved it...then a wife and 2 kids showed up out of nowhere.
I should explain myself: I am 6'8" tall and when I sat in the WRX STi, nobody / nothing could fit behind me. Basically, the STi became a 3-person car, and a very cramped one at that -- apart from the small interior, I loved the car! With 2 young kids (and their friends and grandparents always needing rides) we need a bigger car -- that is all.
A: From what I've read, the Tribeca handles great. But as far as comfort for a very tall person, I would also look at The Honda Pilot and Element, Nissan Murano and Hyundai Santa Fe.
You have to remember that as a tall person, you are going to have the seat all the way back. Therefore, will the steering wheel still be at a comfortable distance? You may not notice this during a short test drive.
If the steering wheel does not telescope and is too far away, you may find yourself hunched over, which is not comfortable.
Also, I find the back seat (second row) of the Tribeca to be too short, too low and too hard for adults. The Murano has a deeper and more cushony back seat.
The front passenger footwell as in the Subaru Outback (I own an 05) as well, is too close, leaving little room for leg stretching. I don't know why Subaru Tribeca and Outback have less footwell distance on the passenger side than on the driver's side.
Subarus handle great, have a great AWD system and are reliable, but unfortunately, they aren't the most comfortable cars out there... in my opinion....and my passengers as well.
Q: I'm having problems with my brand new car's key fob.?
Just purchased a 2008 Subaru Tribeca. It's less than one month old and already I'm having problems with the key fob...it doesn't always lock or unlock (whatever the case maybe). It always seems to happen in the same parking lot (at Target).
What could be going on? Did I get a lemon? We're taking it back to the dealership to have them take a look next week.
We have two key fobs and both had the same issue.
A: It could be something environmental. (Something interfering in the Target parking lot) or a bad fob. Do you have other keys with transponders or remotes on the same key ring? Any radio interference can cause malfunctions. When you go in for service don't leave out the Target parking lot when talking to the service advisor. Good luck
Q: Which 2008 SUV should I buy??????
I'm lookin at 5.
1. Honda CR-V
2. Toyota RAV4
3. Subaru Tribeca
4. Toyota 4Runner
5. Ford Edge
I'm looking for something safe, decent gas milage, and comfotable with a little bling.
A: Hm, out of the abovev, your best bets would be the ford edge and the CR-V.
The new designed CRV offers funtionality with urban style. It's as versatile as a soccer mom van, but yet, stylish enough to drive aroudn teh city wihtout getting stared at, and it has amazing reliablity.
The Ford Edge would be my choice. Its stylish, includes simple technology that is amazing at the same time, and cool new features, such as the sunroof, thats just makes the car all the mroe special. Although this car is not as reliable as toytas, you stand out more, making it even more attracitve than it already is, and buy buying american, your supporting jobs!
Some other good choices would also be, the toyota Highlander, Honda Pilot, VW Toureg and the Nissan Murano
Q: Which car is best for a 1st time car buyer?
I will be buying a car in 2007- or in the begining of 2008.. out of the following which one would you choose for a 1st time car buyer...
1- 2007 Nissan Murano SE AWD
2- 2007 Dodge Nitro SX 4x4
3- 2007 Subaru B9 Tribeca
I've done the safety ratings search and stuff, so what do you guys think?
Have a happy new year!
A: do not listen to cryinggrai I know you are not rich and not spoiled I cannot drive a car at all because my eyes sight are poor howeve I do know a lot about cars becaus I am really into cars. for first time buyer I would get a 4x4 on your second car becuse the 4x4 you have to pay more on car insurances I would not go witht he dodge for some reason they break down a lot espeicaly if you get an auto transmission becusae if auto trams break down than it is $3,000 to replace the whole new trams mission if you can get a stick shift woudl be best to have but if you hvae to go with auto trams than you be best to get any japanese cars like Nisson and subaru you had in mind. Toyota got great gas milage I heard that Toyota Echo give you 40MPG Hybrid give you 45 but hybrid are expensive though My step mom have a toyota hybrid and theya re great car to have but bottom like that if battery for engine goes down that Okay it is regular battery you can get anywhere if Hybrid batter goes down than that take almost two weeks ro order unless you go to a toyota dealier replace the hybrid battery. An Audi and Infinty are great car they handle very well from what I understand. I would drop honda cars becuse too many people got Honda cars like my mother have a 1994 Honda Car and still work great I forgot how much milage she have on her car now. if you ahve anymore question just post your question and one of will be more than happy to answer your question you may have.
