Q: I've narrowed a car choice down to a 2008 Honda accord EX-L V6 or a 2009 Subaru Legacy sedan 3.0R? ?
Any opinions. I like both and the AWD of the Subaru is nice. I have owned two Accords and they are great - the new one looks great as well. Neither one is great on gas and I know the Subaru needs premium fuel.

A: accord will hold its value better and also being a 2008, you may get more rebates on the car if it is a new car. I would go with the accord.

Q: 2009 Subaru Legacy SE(lease) vs 2009 Accord coupe LX-S?
I'm going for automatic. Legacy would be a lease for 24 months. Accord would be a purchase. Assuming I can get good deals on both cars(good lease on legacy, good price for the accord), whats the better way to go? The Legacy has a lot of standard features(moonroof, premium audio system, AWD) Looks sporty for a sedan. Not as attractive as the honda IMO but its not bad looking either. I like the accord. Good looking, aggressive, nice features(although u dont get moonroof or premium audio system). Only thing I dont like about it is its long for coupe. 190 inches..thats longer than the old sedan im driving right now(longer then the legacy too) Basically i can buy the accord and probably end up keeping it for 5+ years or lease a legacy for 24 months and have a chance to either purchase a nicer car later on or even lease another car later. What would you guys do? And for those who drive either of these cars, likes and dislikes? 2.5i SE. Don't think this one is turbocharged.

A: The legacy is a great car, and I would say all models of it are better than an Accord, just because you get a very high quality, capable and reliable car. Although the AWD will detract significantly from fuel economy. But SERIOUSLY. The turbo version (GT trims), are well worth the price, and will provide you with so much driving entertainment. You may even find the SE a little underpowered. And the 09 Legacy upmarket trims (I believe this is all Limiteds and i think SE), have the new Harmon-Kardon sound system which is AMAZING! Well worth the price.

Q: 2009 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Special Edition?
I'm thinking about leasing this car(automatic). For those who drive one, what are your likes and dislikes about the car? I like the fact that it has a lot of standard features(moon roof, premium audio system, awd, power everything) Another car I am also looking at for lease is the Mazda3 (i like the 5 door sport).

A: Just leased a 2.5SE two weeks ago. My original intent was to buy but the tremendous residual on the SE (74% with 15000 mi- I think it's 75% with 12000) made the deal to good to pass up. Nothing out of pocket except first payment on 24 mo. lease. Since this is a new month the residual might go down but there might be another incentive to make up for it. As for the car, after 40+ years of driving I can honestly say this is the best car I've ever owned. The amazing thing is the value. The cap cost (purchase price) was around 23K and that included adding after market leather and XM radio. Throw in AWD, VDC, HK Stereo, moonroof, trip computer, etc and there's nothing that can touch it at the price. I absolutely love the interior. I hate hard plastic and this car has soft touch material virtually everywhere and looks gorgeous. The interior is at least comperable to cars costing 10-15K more. The comfort, ride and handling are all excellent. I have a friend who has a Mazda 3 and she doesn't like it much. Just feels it's too small. I think given the current lease deals you probably would pay about the same or even less for the Legacy.

Q: Is anyone having leg or knee pains while driving a Subaru?
I just purchased a new 2009 Subaru Legacy. I have been with Mercedes Benz for nine years, however with the economy, I decided to save money and not renew my lease. I've never had knee problems before this purchase...never had knee problems with my other cars, Honda or Mercedes. I looked on the internet and found out I'm not the only one. Does anyone else have knee problems driving their Legacy?

A: It's probably just your seat positioning. Try another position where the alignment of your foot-ankle-knee is slightly different. Could also be muscle fatigue, using muscles you haven't used like this in the past.

Q: Car shopping...is this a good deal?
I'm looking at a 2009 Subaru Legacy 2.5i Limited. This is a quote I just received from a dealer. It's roughly $300.00 less than the "TMV" from Edmunds.com....which is calculated before tax and title (a real downer). It's also roughly $500.00 less than a quote from a different dealership. Opinions? $26,005 MSRP with out XM Radio $24,362 Invoice with out XM Radio $ 456 XM radio Installed $ 248 1% above Invoice $25,066 Selling Price Selling Price $25,066.00 Trade $0.00 Cash Difference $25,066.00 Sales Tax 6.50% $1,648.79 Dealer Fee $250.00 Title Fee $30.50 Total Cash Difference $26,995.29 Trade Payoff $0.00 Net Total Difference $26,995.29 Cash Down $0.00 Rebate $500.00 Total Due $26,495.29

A: tell them to throw in the radio for free and itshave a deal. its easier to get stuff instead of money from dealers
