Q: Subaru Impreza?
I am thinking about buying a subaru impreza in the next few weeks but will only be wanting to keep it for 4 or 5 months. I have heard from several mates that they are difficult to sell. If i was buying an impreza with the intention to sell on after a while, what would i be looking out for. Is there anything special or rare in an impreza that people would be wanting to have? or is it just the simple things such as full service history that they would be looking out for

A: I have one of these too, Great car. Infact I have 3. just incase! Dont buy, steal! Much cheaper!

Q: Which gear oil for subaru impreza is better?
I'm planning to change my gear oil for my subaru impreza 2006. Which gear oil is better? Amsoil severe gear, Motul or Cusco?

A: I don't think it really matters what you use as long as you put the right weight of oil in the gear box,If it's a standard transmission which i'm sure it is ,then you should use a 80-90 weight gear oil.

Q: What are some good cars similar to the mitibushi evo, subaru impreza wrx that are manual 4 doors?
i am looking for a price range of 1-18k for a car similar to the mitibushi lancer evolution or the subaru impreza wrx used. I am looking for 4 door manual cars similar to these. and I was wondering which one is more worth it to get the impreza or the evo lancer?

A: I noticed you picked only all wheel drive cars so, I would suggest the audi a4. mabe an a6 but that ups the $$$ I also like the altima ser only made in 05 and 06 i believe.

Q: How much monthly would it cost me to lease a 2008 subaru impreza wrx?
Well im highly considering leasing a 2008 subaru impreza wrx for 3 or 4 years. With around 2 thousand down on the car how much do you think I will have to pay monthly lets say if i lease it for 3 years or maybe 4 years.

A: Your best bet is to go to a dealer and ask. If they have lease offerings going on they will tell you the exact amount you have to pay. Leases are tricky because the terms are usually set by the lender. You can't just go in and say I have this much and only want to pay this much like with a loan.

Q: How good is the Subaru Impreza WRX in the snow?
I think about the WRX or the Honda CR-V, yes i know they are very different but those are what i am ;looking at. How good is the impreza in snow? Subaru's are all good snow cars, right? Any thoughts? Any experiences would be great! Edit: Non- STi...

A: has any one of you that answered ever drivin BOTH vehicles in the snow? i own a 2005 impreza WRX (non-STi 2.0L Turbo ect..) and im currently living in Alaska. I would strongly recomend the WRX. A friend of mine (who is currently deploied) had a CR-V and that thing was not very reliable. it always had problems with the engine, and the heater took forever to work. The Subaru has a great heater, with snow tires on it has perfect traction, feels like normal pavement when your on ice. The CR-V with studs on all 4 has braking issues just because it weighs so much more. NOW one thing bad about the WRX is the anti-lock brakes are gay. im used to pumping the brakes myself to slow down so the anti-locks cause me to throw myself through the front windshield (not literally). Even though the WRX is a little more expencive, in my opinion and personal experiances its worth the little higher price ALSO ground clearance is not really a problem in the snow. ive drove through about 3 feet of snow in my WRX one time and the only problem i had was i couldnt see. but that was cause i didnt have winter windshield wipers on yet

Q: How Do You Remove The Two Rear Deck Speakers In The Back Of My Subaru Impreza?
I have a 2000 Subaru Impreza 2.5 RS coupe and I want to change the speakers. I know how to get to the two front ones but the two rear ones are like impossible. I tried unscrewing the three big screws on the top of the mounting area but i dont know how to get the whole mounting wood up and out so i can get two unscrewing the speakers and i don't wants to brake the speaker's tops. HELP!

A: No, there're not immposible, just difficult. See, you'll need to FIRST diconnect the speaker plugs from the speakers. Then get either a #2 or a #3 Phillips head screw driver. Crawl into the trunk and un-screw the screws in the underside of the speaker mounts. Then the top ones. Do it in reverse to re-instal. E-mail me if you've got a snag or two.

Q: would a manual 2004 subaru impreza station wagon be a wrx sti or is there a difference?
and are all subaru impreza the same or would some have a different engine?

A: WRX is a sporty model of the impreza developing about 225hp. STI is a tuned up version, developing about 275hp. There is Impreza sedan/saloon, with a sedan/saloon style boot, and the station wagon version has an estate style boot. The station wagon is classed as the more practical, but less good looking version. Thats all you really need to know.

Q: Does anyone know where the aux jack is in the new subaru impreza?
i have a new subaru impreza (07 ot 08 im not exactly sure) and i am having trouble fiding the aux jack input. the owners manual says its in the armrest compartment , but its not there. there is some kind of input below my air conditioner next to the lighter thing, but its covered by something and i cant seem to open it. any suggestions??

A: I have a standard 08 Impreza and it does not have an aux jack. It would be in the armrest, but unless you have an upgraded subi (premium package, etc.) then sorry, you'll have to upgrade to a stereo that is aux jack-capable.

A: just another subaru i think.

I'm looking to buy a new car on the weekend and really like the Subaru Impreza 2.1 5 door hatch - the luxury edition. It's selling for about 28 thousand here in Australia. Is this a good car or is there a medium size hatch/wagon on the market for the same price?

A: My suggestion, the Ford Fusion with 1.3 Diesel engine, estimated at 62 MPG.
